The 3rd of each month is a special day here on my blog - it's the day that Kelly (the founder of this series), Barb, and I share our One Plus Twelve cards. The idea is to use the same ONE stamp (not a set) each month to create a card. Sentiments can be used, too, if we choose.
We started this series in 2019; it's hard to believe we've been doing it that long.
My ONE stamp this year is a beautiful floral from the Pinkfresh Studio Amazing Things stamp set.
This month I tried something I've been wanting to try. I saw the idea somewhere but I'm sorry to say I can't remember where so I can't give credit where credit is due. It involved the use of POSCA White Paint Marker Pens.
First step is to stamp the image directly onto any designer paper. Then use the POSCA White Paint Marker Pen to color inside the lines of the stamped image.
Once the white paint is dry, color the image with alcohol markers.
Finally re-stamp the image to make the lines crisp/sharp. After that it's simply a matter of making the card.
I had fun giving this a try. I'm not sure I'll ever try it again, but that's okay. It wasn't a totally bomb.
You can see Barb's and Kelly's cards on Instagram as well as their blogs...
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
