Using this One Stamp for Kicks in 2026 - April

The 3rd of each month is a special day here on my blog - it's the day that Kelly (the founder of this series), Barb, and I share our One Plus Twelve cards. The idea is to use the same ONE stamp (not a set) each month to create a card. Sentiments can be used, too, if we choose. (I'm actually a day late this month, as yesterday was a DT day on my blog.)

We started this series in 2019; it's hard to believe we've been doing it that long.

My ONE stamp this year is a beautiful floral from the Pinkfresh Studio Amazing Things stamp set.

This month I used the coordinating stencil set to blend color onto my stamped image. I also used a fun coverplate die for the background.

You can see Barb's and Kelly's cards on Instagram as well as their blogs...

BK DP - Misty Moons and Pastel Skies 1

Fridays are special days - who doesn't love TGIF, right? But here on my blog Fridays are also special because they are the day I get to post as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

This month the design team's cards are featuring two newly released designer paper packs - Misty Moons and Pastel Skies. Obviously we are also using BKRS stamp sets and other products, too.

Aging Is Weird

I love Unity stamps! They have such a variety - florals, animals, scenes, and more. Oh, and funny/quirky ones, too, like the Little Weirdo that I used on today's card.

This makes me smile!

SCS Sketch #SC1108

I have been part of the Sketch team on Splitcoaststampers for a few years now. Whether it's my week to create the sketch (the first Wednesday of each month) or I'm creating a sample card based on the sketch someone else created, I find that having a sketch to use can get my creative ideas flowing.

There is a new sketch to work with every Wednesday. I encourage you to check them out.

I created this week's sketch - #SC1108:

I hope you'll use the sketch to make a card, too.

This is NOT an April Fool's Joke

I've had my blog for 18 years; partway through those 18 years I purchased a domain. That's a lot of years. I had 5,603 blog posts. All was going well until it wasn't. In the middle of March my blog disappeared. Nothing I tried worked to bring it back.

I sought help from "professionals" and they couldn't get it figured out either. So I finally gave up and started this new blog.

It isn't pretty, but it's functional.

It doesn't have 18 years of history, but it's a starting point.

It doesn't have 300+ followers, but it has a few people who will check it out from time to time.

Every blog has to start somewhere, so this is where Cre8tive Too starts.

I hope you'll stop by often.
